Keep Artlogic. Add Provenance.
If you're searching for an Artlogic alternative, first ask which half of the business is hurting. Artlogic sells your art, the website, the viewing rooms, the collector CRM. What it was never built for is the physical business underneath: the handling, the storage, the condition of the work, the crews who move it, and the money those operations earn. That layer is Provenance, and its Operations Adviser runs on it, flagging stale valuations, unbilled storage, and condition changes Artlogic never sees. Different organ; keep both.

Different organ, same body
A gallery's sell-side system answers "what do we have and who might buy it." The operational spine answers "who touched it, what condition is it in, where is it stored, what did that cost, and what did we earn." When the second set of questions lives in spreadsheets and email, condition disputes, unbilled storage, and stale insurance schedules follow. Provenance gives those questions a system of record, without touching the half Artlogic already does well.
What passes between them
Today, coexistence is by reference: a work carries the same inventory number and title in both systems, so the registrar can move between them without ambiguity. An import path is on the roadmap. In practice the overlap is small, the people, screens, and moments of use are different halves of the week.
When one system is enough
If you never move, store, or restore work, no crews, no storage, no condition liability. Artlogic alone may cover you. If you're an art-handling or logistics operation with no sell-side at all, Provenance alone is the system. The gallery in between runs both.
Asked, answered
For the sell-side, no, keep Artlogic. For the physical business, custody, condition, storage, crews, operational billing, that's Provenance, and Artlogic doesn't play there. Many galleries run both.
Not yet, coexistence today is by reference (shared inventory numbers and titles); an import path is on the roadmap.
Install and transport scheduling with crews, a logged chain of custody, signed condition reports compared over time, storage billing, valuation and coverage documentation with the Coverage Dossier, payroll, an offline field app, and QuickBooks sync.
